COCOA — The last undefeated group in Volusia-Flagler-St. The Johns region, at last, fell on Friday night and was depleted by the constitution of Cocoa, a possibility for the Class 4A Championship.
The two groups began the night in the best 20 of the Florida High School Athletics Federation’s RPI rankings — Cocoa (6-1) was fifth in all classifications. Tidy Creek (7-1) was in the nineteenth spot.
Cocoa lead trainer Ryan Schneider said, “I was once asked what we were building the program on … . We are building the program dependent on affection.” .. “Our group remains together all through each match, each difficult second. That is the thing that I and our mentor staff are glad for.”
ninth-week recommendation: Spruce Creek set an undefeated standard against Cocoa. Three things to keep an eye out for in secondary school football.
