PM Modi In QUAD: Prime Minister Modi said in the Quad Summit – We have united for humanity during the Corona period

On the third day of his US visit, Prime Minister Modi attended the Quad Summit 2021 after a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Joe Biden, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison attended the Quad Leaders Summit in Washington DC. This meeting is important in many ways.

During this, PM Modi thanked President Joe Biden for the historic initiative of the first Physical Quad Summit. He said that we came together after the 2004 tsunami to help the Indo-Pacific region. Today, when the world is facing the covid pandemic, we are once again uniting together as a Quad in the interest of humanity. At the same time, he said, our cooperation will ensure peace in the Indo-Pacific.

Prime Minister Modi further said that our Quad Vaccine Initiative will be of great help to the Indo-Pacific countries. Based on its shared democratic values, Quad has decided to move forward with positive thinking, a positive approach. Be it supply chain or global security, climate action or COVID response, or collaboration in technology, I would be happy to discuss all these topics with my colleagues.

At the same time, Prime Minister Modi said that the world is facing the Corona epidemic, so we are once again working together in the form of Quad in the interest of humanity. Our quad will act as a sort of force for global good.

US President Joe Biden said that our initiative to produce an additional 1 billion doses of the vaccine in India is on track to boost global supplies. Today we are launching a new Quod fellowship for students from each Quod country to pursue an advanced degree in the Leading STEM program in the US. These students represent the leaders, innovators and pioneers of tomorrow.

During the Quad Group meeting, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said, ‘I hope this summit goes well. The Japanese PM thanked US President Joe Biden and said that you have ended the ban on Japanese food products. I had requested you in this regard in the month of April. This is a big step. Thank you.
